STAR aims to contribute to enhancing the quality of undergraduate programs in the Social Sciences, Humanities, and Basic Sciences in Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus by organizing training sessions, workshops, and informational events related to evaluation and accreditation processes. Conducting evaluation and accreditation activities in alignment with its mission and objectives, STAR possesses an extensive and comprehensive infrastructure that supports the development of undergraduate programs—particularly those that foster collaboration with professional organizations and representatives from the business world. STAR adopts an approach that prioritizes its stakeholders and emphasizes active engagement with them throughout its events. Through its policies, STAR aspires to be a key player in advancing societal well-being by contributing to the education of highly qualified graduates—individuals who are well-prepared to navigate and understand contemporary developments in both social life and the professional sphere.
To achieve its goals, STAR seeks to organize—and provide support for—training sessions, workshops, and informational events at both national and international levels. As a non-governmental organization, STAR approaches the continuous development and improvement of undergraduate programs in the Social Sciences, Humanities, and Basic Sciences as a matter of social responsibility. It has been established to promote the development and continuous improvement of undergraduate programs in the social sciences, humanities, and fundamental sciences within the Republic of Türkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and to ensure the quality of education and instruction. Its scope includes the evaluation and accreditation of undergraduate programs in the following fields: Business Administration, International Trade, Management Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Banking, Labor Economics, Public Administration, Political Science and International Relations, Econometrics, Statistics, Logistics, Public Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Insurance and Actuarial Science.
